“It is no use saying, 'We are doing our best.' You have got to succeed in doing what is necessary.” -- Winston Churchill
In the wee hours of the morning on Christmas Eve the United States Senate skulked into their chambers under the darkness of night and passed Obamacare, a legislative nightmare that might be the most intrusive bill in American history. It not only gives the Congress complete control of one sixth of the American economy, it forces Americans to purchase health insurance under penalty of law and is a major step toward removing individual choice from healthcare. It also allows bureaucrats to make life and death health care decisions on behalf of our senior citizens.
Think not? Section 3403 of Senator Harry Reid’s amendment to the national health care bill requires that: It shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment, or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection.
By attaching section 3403 to his amendment Reid has made it illegal for Congress to change or repeal a specific, solitary section of the Obamacare legislation. They must keep hands off any change in the language that provides for Independent Medicare Advisory Boards.
The left cried foul and called Sarah Palin a liar after she breathed the words, “Death panels.” But there it is; Independent Medicare Advisory Boards are just another way of describing Death Panels.
In addition to Section 3403, the Senate bill requires a Super Majority to repeal any portion of the remainder of the bill. That means three fourths of the legislature must agree to revisions assuring that, should Congress experience a change in leadership in 2010, Obamacare will remain intact.
America, what have you done? The left fostered such hatred in you for the Bush administration that you voted for any change, just as long as it was a repudiation of Bush policies (which weren’t so bad in retrospect.)
You not only sent a man with Marxist leanings to the White House, you gave him a single party majority in both Houses of Congress. They proceeded to ram through at lightning speed some of the most onerous legislation we have ever seen, even though the majority of Americans were opposed.
Never mind that Section 3403 is unconstitutional, those rabid ideologues passed the bill anyway. They are willing to fall on their political swords, sacrificing their political careers, just as long as they can fundamentally change America before their passing.
Conservatives and Independents tried hard, even gathered in the nation’s streets, making speeches and carrying signs, to send a message to Congress that they did not want the health care bill. We gave it our best shot and lost that battle in the Senate. But now is not the time to surrender.
It’s time to launch a new offensive before Congress can reconcile the Senate version of the health care fiasco with the House of Representatives. Because as soon as Obama signs Oamacare into law, Congress will begin the process to pass Cap and Trade, which will plunge a dagger into the heart of America as we know it.
There were many House and Senate rules that could have been used to stall this health care travesty, but in the interest of “civility in the halls of Congress,” they didn’t use them. But the current Republican leadership doesn’t have the fire in their bellies to do whatever it takes to win. If not now, when?
We need a hardnosed strategy that can begin with lawsuits. Conservative law firms across America can challenge the legality of payments to states in return for votes. In addition, lawyers can question the constitutionality of many of the provisions within the health care bill, something that the Republicans should have done in the first place.
In the mean time, Americans can begin to phone their representatives daily and demand that they block passage of both Obamacare and Cap and Trade. Overload the system with messages. Write letters; fire off multiple emails; send telegrams; let them know that we are mad as hell.
Demand that the worst of them, those who accepted multi-million dollar payoffs for their states in exchange for their “yes” vote, immediately resign. If they won’t resign, launch recall initiatives and circulate petitions for their removal from office. Invest some of our dollars in the political campaigns of constitutional conservatives at the local, state and national levels, regardless of their party affiliation, and then work hard for their election.
We can’t expect much help from the main stream press, so we’ll have to educate ourselves, our families, friends, and neighbors to the danger that lies ahead and enlist them to join us in the battle.
Dick Morris paraphrased Winston Churchill recently with this statement: If they beat us in the Senate, we will fight them in conference. If they beat us in conference, we will fight them in the House. If they beat us in the House over healthcare, we will fight them over cap and trade. We will fight them over immigration and amnesty. We will fight them over the deficit. We will fight them over the debt. And we will fight them in 2010. We will fight them in the House. We will fight them for Senate seats in Connecticut, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, and Arkansas. We will fight them in Colorado and North Dakota and California and Washington State. We will fight them in Illinois and in New Jersey. We will never, never, never, never give up! Our country is at stake!
It’s time for a new American Revolution. Not only is our country at stake, but the very freedom that we hold so dear.
MY COMMENTS: People need to wake up. This bill is unConstitutional but that means nothing to people who do not understand the Constitution. The Senate and House are now home on vacation. Time to call them everyday and demand they vote against this bill. Time to remind them every day they work for us - not we for them.

MARTHA COAKLEY: TOO IMMORAL FOR TEDDY KENNEDY'S SEAT
This is Ann Coulter's latest article.
In Tuesday's primary election, Massachusetts Democrats chose as their Senate nominee a woman who kept a clearly innocent man in prison in order to advance her political career.
Martha Coakley isn't even fit for the late Teddy Kennedy's old seat. (What is it about this particular Senate seat?)
During the daycare/child molestation hysteria of the '80s, Gerald Amirault, his mother, Violet, and sister, Cheryl, were accused of raping children at the family's preschool in Malden, Mass., in what came to be known as the second-most notorious witch trial in Massachusetts history.
The allegations against the Amiraults were preposterous on their face. Children made claims of robots abusing them, a "bad clown" who took the children to a "magic room" for sex play, rape with a 2-foot butcher knife, other acts of sodomy with a "magic wand," naked children tied to trees within view of a highway, and -- standard fare in the child abuse hysteria era -- animal sacrifices.
There was not one shred of physical evidence to support the allegations -- no mutilated animals, no magic rooms, no butcher knives, no photographs, no physical signs of any abuse on the children.
Not one parent noticed so much as unusual behavior in their children -- until after the molestation hysteria began.
There were no witnesses to the alleged acts of abuse, despite the continuous and unannounced presence of staff members, teachers, parents and other visitors at the school.
Not one student ever spontaneously claimed to have been abused. Indeed, the allegations of abuse didn't arise until the child therapists arrived.
Nor was there anything in the backgrounds of the Amiraults that fit the profile of sadistic, child-abusing monsters. Violet Amirault had started the Fells Acre Day School 18 years before the child molestation hysteria erupted.
Thousands of happy and well-adjusted students had passed through Fells Acres. Many returned to visit the school; some even attended Cheryl's wedding a few years before the inquisition began.
It's one thing to put a person in prison for a crime he didn't commit. It's another to put an entire family in prison for a crime that didn't take place.
In the most outrageous miscarriage of justice since the Salem witch trials, in July 1986, Gerald Amirault was convicted of raping and assaulting six girls and three boys and sentenced to 30 to 40 years in prison. The following year, Violet and Cheryl Amirault were convicted of raping and assaulting three girls and a boy and were sentenced to 8 to 20 years.
The motto of the witch-hunters was "Believe the Children!" But the therapists resolutely refused to believe the children as long as they denied being abused. As the police advised the parents: In cases of child abuse, "no" can mean "yes."
To the children's credit, they held firm to their denials for heroic amounts of time in the face of relentless questioning.
But as copious research in the wake of the child abuse cases has demonstrated, small children are highly suggestible. It's surprisingly easy to implant false memories into young minds by simply asking the same questions over and over again.
Indeed, the interviewing techniques in the Amirault case were so successful that the children also made accusations against three other teachers, two imaginary people named "Mr. Gatt" and "Al" and even against the child therapist herself -- the one claim of abuse that was provably true.
But only the Amiraults were put on trial for any alleged acts of abuse.
Coakley wasn't the prosecutor on the original trial. What she did was worse.
At least the original prosecutors, craven and ambition-driven though they were, could claim to have been caught up in the child abuse panic of the '80s. There had not yet been extensive psychological studies on the suggestibility of small children. A dozen similar cases from around the country had not already been discredited and the innocent freed.
Of all the men and women falsely convicted during the child molestation hysteria of the '80s, by 2001, only Gerald Amirault still sat in prison. Even his sister and mother had been released after serving eight years in prison for crimes that never occurred.
In July 2001, the notoriously tough Massachusetts parole board voted unanimously to grant Gerald Amirault clemency. Although the parole board is not permitted to consider guilt or innocence, its recommendation said: "(I)t is clearly a matter of public knowledge that, at the minimum, real and substantial doubt exists concerning petitioner's conviction."
Immediately after the board's recommendation, The Boston Globe reported that Gov. Jane Swift was leaning toward accepting the board's recommendation and freeing Amirault.
Enter Martha Coakley, Middlesex district attorney. Gerald Amirault had already spent 15 years in prison for crimes he no more committed than anyone reading this column did. But Coakley put on a full court press to keep Amirault in prison simply to further her political ambitions.
By then, every sentient person knew that Amirault was innocent. But instead of saying nothing, Coakley frantically lobbied Gov. Jane Swift to keep him in prison to show that she was a take-no-prisoners prosecutor, who stood up for "the children." As a result of Coakley's efforts -- and her contagious ambition -- Gov. Swift denied Amirault's clemency.
Thanks to Martha Coakley, Gerald Amirault sat in prison for another three years.
Remember all that talk about President Bush shredding constitutional rights? Overzealous liberal prosecutors and feminist do-gooders allowed Gerald Amirault to sit in prison for 18 years for crimes that didn't exist -- except in the imaginations of small children under the influence of incompetent child "therapists."
Martha Coakley allowed her ambition to trump basic human decency as she campaigned to keep a patently innocent man in prison.
Anyone with the smallest sense of justice cannot vote to put this woman in any office. If you absolutely cannot vote for a Republican on Jan. 19, 2010, write in the name "Gerald Amirault."

Time To Take A Stand
This is LtCol Allen West. A very interesting man. Google his name and find out more about him. At the start of WW II, Adm King stated "when the shit hits the fan, that's when the call for the sons of bitches." LtCol Allen West is the kind of man we need in the military to win this war. Yet the Army forced him to retire. Find out why.
He is running for Congress. Here is his website - http://allenwestforcongress.com/.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." --C.S. The Truth of Mike Huckabee
For anyone who thinks that Mike Huckabee should be President of the United States, I urge you to rethink your position. Maurice Clemmons - the animal who ambushed and killed four police officers in Washington state - was granted a clemency by then Governor Mike Huckabee. Clemmons is not the only animal granted clemency or pardoned by Huckabee. He released over a thousand animals during his tenure as governor. I urge you to go to these two websites -

and read about Tin Mike.
I also urge you to contact your Republican leaders and urge them to not support Mike Huckabee for any Republican position. Please make a effort to contact Michael Steele and let him know that Mike Huckabee is not who conservatives want to run for the Presidency.

I am writing this on December 1, 2009. This would have been the 63rd birthday of my sister Maryanne. However, a murderer cut short her life in September.
I have been thinking about her for some time since receiving the news of her death. I decided to write and post this in honor of her life and her memory.
My sister – Maryanne Agnes Humphrey – was a good woman, a loving mother, and a loving grandmother. I am ashamed to say that I did not always get along with her nor treat her with the respect and dignity she deserved. She deserved dignity and respect because she was a good woman who lived a hard life, harming no one and wishing no one any harm. Unfortunately, people did not treat her with the same consideration.
Recently I watched a news report concerning a woman in Arkansas named Ann Pressly. She was an up and coming news personality, brutally murdered when someone broke into her home. Her death and the trial of her murderer received national news coverage. She was twenty-six years old, blonde, and pretty. She was college educated and a rising star, her future probably assured. She seemed to want for nothing – she had looks, brains, an outstanding job, a good home life, supportive family.
My sister was sixty-two years old when some lowlife shot her twice in a convenience store robbery. Maryanne had to work at a convenience store because she did not have a college education. However, she was not dumb – not by a long shot. Maryanne was a straight A student in school but did not have the breaks an Anne Pressly has.
Maryanne grew up living in poverty but it did not beat her down. She tackled life and made the best out of her lot. I remember her as energetic and optimistic, never saying a bad word about anyone or going out of her way to cause harm to anyone. During her funeral, her daughter and granddaughter not only made two poster-boards of her comprised of pictures from her life but also had commissioned a DVD, showing pictures of her. Every picture shows her smiling and happy. I was stunned to see how pretty she was and that she had a beautiful smile. Her face shined showing no traces of bitterness, defeat, or depression that a hard life can do to some.
Why had I not seen this before? Why did I not treat her better? She never did anything to me and yet I did nothing for her. I am ashamed and I am sorry. I realized that we never get the second chance. This is our one shot and to live life without telling your siblings or your parents that you love them is truly heartbreaking. There is no more time for anger and bitterness. There is only time left to leave it behind and embrace what you have with whom you are with.
I believe in God and I believe that Maryanne is with Him. Why? As I said, she was a good woman who never went out of her way to harm others, who never did evil, and tried her best with her abilities to help those around her. I never said I loved her so I say it now. I love my sister Maryanne and I hope and pray that I can say that to her in Heaven.

How pissed off are you after the Senate voted this past Saturday on their version of the Health Care bill? Well, I am really pissed off! Moderate Dems my arse! I wrote the below letter and sent it to my two local newspapers - The Calvert Recorder and Calvert Independent. Let's see if they print it. In the meantime, here is the letter -
I hope the Representatives and Senators of Maryland and throughout the rest of America are happy. The Health Care bill from each respective chamber has now passed. The recent Senate vote does not fool me. Yes, I know it was only a vote to allow for debate. Yes, I have heard the lame rationales from various Senators that this does not mean they will vote for the bill when it actually comes up for a vote. Please, do not talk to me as if I am a fool. The Democrats resorted to bribery to get the votes in order to pass a bill that they exempt themselves from.
I suppose our Congress cannot help it. I can see where all of you – Republicans and Democrats – believe the American public to be foolish and stupid. On a daily basis, government - from the local level on up to the Federal behemoth - confronts the citizens with its inadequacy, incompetence, and stupidity. We – the citizens – have no one to blame but ourselves for letting Congress get by with this fiasco of a health care bill. We truly do get the government we deserve.
All an individual has to do is look at the universal health care of different nations in order to see it as an abysmal failure. However, that may be too difficult for the average citizen. If that is the case, then look within the United States. Tennessee –tried it and deserted it. Hawaii –tried it and deserted it. Look at Massachusetts and the troubles that state is having. If the citizen really wants to look at how bad government run health care is, look at the health care government provides to American Indians and to military veterans.
The Congress knows this even if the average citizen does not, counting on the average citizen to pay more attention to what passes for entertainment within their country than to what is happening to their country. Our Congress has fooled a great majority of this nation; however, there are those of us who you cannot fool. I am one of those and people like me are growing on a daily basis.
As an retired veteran of the United States Navy, I swore to defend this nation and the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. What this Congress attempts to do by forcing universal health care down the collective throat of the American public, is against the Constitution. That makes them domestic enemies.
In order to fight against this travesty, I have written and called the offices of my elected Representative and Senators numerous times. There are times I cannot get through due to other citizens attempting to make their voices heard. The times I do get through, I talk to aides who either pretend ignorance or are truly ignorant, seeming to have no knowledge of their boss’s intentions. Yet, even with the thousands of calls and letters the Congress receives against certain legislation, you continue to pass it, ignoring the will of the constituents you claim to represent.
Congressmen and Senators - let me remind you of some simple factual truths. One - we – the constituents, the citizens, the American public – do not work for you! You work for us! Yet, you continue to ignore the will of your constituents. Two - we demand you work within the confines of the United States Constitution. Again, you continue to ignore the Constitution and us. This will not stand.
I am not going to waste space by listing what is unconstitutional with either the Senate or House version of the health care bill. I will not waste time by listing what can truly make health care better. The Congress already knows this and they do not care. In order to make health care truly better would mean for the Congress to relinquish control. They will not do that. For the average citizen reading this letter, my advice is to get off your rear end and find out how this Congress is attempting to destroy this nation and take away your liberty.
This Congress ignores our phone calls, our letters, and our emails. Elected officials refuse to either hold town hall meetings or hold them in controlled environments. They use union thugs and goons at these town halls to intimidate concerned citizens. Be advised! I will work hard and continuously to see my elected officials voted out of office. If not this election, then the next one. I will write letters, make phone calls, and continually expose your corruption and cowardice to all within and without Maryland. Moreover, I am not alone. As I write this, there are millions of us mobilizing to see you and your ilk kicked out of Congress.
My advice – stand down and listen to the citizens. Stop trying to take away our liberty. Or be prepared to have us – the citizens – make you stand down by electing you out of office.

This Little Lady Is On The Mark!
I received this video via email today. Amazing. This little girl is 12 years old and already possesses more wisdom than most members of the United States Congress. She also possesses more knowledge of this great nation than some of the people that I will send this blog to and others who will stumble upon this blog. And she does it all without a teleprompter. That is because when you speak the truth, when you speak with wisdom and boldness, when you speak with knowledge and love of your subject, than you already know what to say.
Stand up for the United States. Please pass this along.

The Indoc Begins
Below is an extremely disturbing video. This video was first put online by Charisse Carney-Nunes, an activist and author of the children's book "I Am Barack Obama." She is the adult not seen.
I am not going to give a bio of Nunes. I will let you research that. If you are interested. However, I hope you find this disturbing.
Several things in the video are bothersome. One is the children chanting Barack Hussein Obama. So, during the election, I was a racist for repeating his middle name. But now it is okay to rub our faces in his middle name. Another is the praise all his accomplishments. The video was filmed in February of this year. Obama was in office less than a month. What accomplishments? Third, they have the children swaying to the chant. This instills muscle memory. Fourth - the chant is sung to the tune of The Battle Hymn of the Republic - a song banned from many schools due to its religious overtones. And lastly, the bastardization of a Christian hymn - Jesus Loves the Little Children.
People - this is what Marxists, Fascists and Dictators do! And this is why people distrust and hate the public school system.
